It's On Like Donkey Kong

Triggering 10pm tonight. Retrieval at 7:30am Monday. Holy. Crap.

My less than favorite nurse was the one who called. She made me so nervous that I forgot to ask about my estrogen level. I guess it doesn't matter, right?

Last minute words of advice anyone? Feeling a strange mixture of excitement and fear!

  5. Enjoy your last glass of alcoholic beverage now, if you drink that is. Don't forget to POAS tomorrow morning and hope that it is just a precursor to your next real BFP. Best wishes for a great retrieval.

  6. Good luck!!! Wear something cozy and easy to slip on, cause your husband has to help you get dressed after and you will be totally out of it. Can't wait to hear about it.

  9. Just this: keep telling yourself "I am a rock star" as you go through the next few days, because you are. I'm thinking of you as you prepare for retrieval and am hoping for good news soon.

  10. All the best of luck - lots of deep breathing when you feel nervous, positive thinking, hugs with your hubby and finally - be very gentle on yourself. All will be well!

  11. Good luck tomorrow! I would say, wear something stretchy for sure, tomorrow, and for the next few days through transfer. And think about clogs, or something easily slip-onable so you don't have to bend over to put on your shoes when you leave. I always make sure I have a bottle of water and gatorade with me, as well as some crackers, or a bagel or something. With having to fast from the night before, I'm always SO hungry after. They usually give ginger ale and crackers in the recovery room, but I like to snack again in the car on the way home. Definitely accept any prescription for pain meds they offer. I always get percocet, which luckily, I've only needed to take for a day or two. And, lots of deep breathing. You'll do great!

  12. Stay clam and focused. There is nothing you can do to change the outcomes of anything now, so be at peace. You will do just fine and you are that much closer to getting a chance at a baby. Good luck!!!

  15. Have Gatorade at the house. Ginger ale too. You may get a headache after anesthesia. Is Mr. HRF staying with you all day after the procedure? I'm around all day--text me if you need anything. I may not be able to get out to you, but I can contact someone who can. And good luck, and lots of love. And ENJOY THE DRUGZZZZZ
