I've been a bad blogger - both reading and writing. I am in my last 3 days of curriculum work at school and have been incredibly busy. A post is in the works for this weekend and I'll catch up then.
In the meantime, I posted a video on the "The Nugget" page of us using the home doppler for the first time. Yup, I caved. Try not to cringe at how badly I am bloated and need a tan.
The sound of a heartbeat is so magic. Congratulations and thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'm so happy things are moving along smoothly for you. What kind of doppler do you have? Do you recommend having one at home? Did you rent or buy?
ReplyDeleteI bought a Sonoline B for about $60. I'm happy with it! I think it's a personal choice though. I got it so I wouldn't drive myself insane between OB visits, but will really battle with myself to not use it constantly.
DeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI allow myself to use my doppler once a week, usually on Sundays, and then only for a very short time. That sound is simply magical, isn't it?
BTW: love your belly tattoo, too. I've always wanted one but never dared get it for fear it would morph completely out of control when I gained weight.
I admire your restraint. I only use it in short bursts, but every day at this point. I should cut down. It's like crack.
DeleteRe the belly tattoo: I actually have a lot of tattoos but that is one I regret. I mean, a frog? Really?! :) I was 17. What can I say?
That was so nice to hear. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteoh, so lucky! I haven't gotten a good reading yet. That's so special!
