Times Like These

Yesterday, I had an important, tough, and emotional conversation with my mom.

Today, I saw my therapist (a good thing for everyone) and brought home 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.

Tomorrow, we have our WTF?! appointment with the RE, armed with a long list of questions.

I'm tired already.

P.S. KG has written some of the best post-its ever this week.

I want to send a big, huge congratulations to many of my fellow bloggers who either had successful transfers or BFPs this week. There seemed to be a big wave of good luck flowing through the blogosphere.

  2. We need a little good luck around here. One can only take so much grief. I am sorry about how things turned out and I wish you could have been one of the lucky ones. I guess it will be our turn at some point. Good luck with your appointment. I look forward to hearing how it goes.

  5. So proud of you Royal Fab...you're making all the right moves, doing everything you can possibly do. I hope that sitting down and having a very direct talk with your RE will give you some peace and clarity on the situation. I think it will. Bug hugs through the internets. xoxoxo

  9. I hope your RE will be able to give you answers tomorrow and also suggestions on what they will do to avoid the same disasters if and when you try again. If he tries to beat about the bush and be evasivs, hit him above the head with a box of girl scout cookies.
BTW, have a cookie for me, will you? There are no girl scout cookies in Germany.
Sending you hugs and good vibes. And hope that the wave of good luck will sweep over you on its second way around!

  10. Times like these can leave you so drained. It is hard, but it will get better.

What kind of girl scout cookies are you eating? Once after a particularly bad day I ate two boxes of mallomars all on my own!

Girl scout cookies make everything better. I am still waiting on my girl scout to deliver mine!

    3. Funny you mention girl scout cookies. I forced myself to eat 3 (no appetite after surgery) just because I wasn't about to let Rob eat all of the thin mints-it's just the principle of it.

Normally in these situations I'd eat the whole box.

      Love that song, BTW.
